Mo day evening meal, we had 2 meals off the classics, scampi and bangers and mash, partner loved the scampi with the tartar sauce and chips, bangers and mash, the banger were.....banging, the mash, lovely and creamy and the gravy was so nice, a definite stop when we are this way again and would travel here for Sunday dinner alone

We were recommended by friends to try here and were nervous because we then read the reviews. The food was lovely everyone finished their meals. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the bar man was also very pleasant. All in all I'd say this was worth the visit

Decided to book a table for Sunday lunch the next day and was not disappointed. Very tasty and good size portions. We will definitely use this pub next time we are in the area!

Service from every single person we came across was amazing, they couldn't do enough for us! Sunday lunch was one of the best we've ever had! Portion size was perfect with a generous amount of meat and a variety of vegetables. We also ordered a childs menu which my daughter loved, again a generous portion. Very happy we stumbled across this place, we will definitely return when we are back in the area!!

We stayed on to watch England in the Euros semi final, lovely atmosphere and the drinks were very reasonably priced.

  Excellent food, lovely staff, reasonably priced and the dog was allowed in .bonus 😁 Good place to watch the local cricket matches opposite. Recommend booking.
